Matcha powder is made from green tea leaves and maintains all of their amazing properties. It boosts metabolism, helps the body eliminate toxins, acts as a diuretic, and nourishes and oxygenates the cells with chlorophyll and vitamins. It’s an antioxidant powerhouse and calms the mind so you get a great start to your day. Combine it with vegan milk and coconut oil for a great taste, creamy texture, and the addition of healthy fat.
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tsp extra virgin coconut oil
- 1 tbsp agave nectar
- 2 tsp matcha powder
- Add all ingredients into a sauce pan over low heat, bring to boil and let simmer for a minute or two.
- Transfer into the blender, and pulse to obtain a frothy mixture.
- Serve right away.
